   Band Directors

  1. OSFABB is especially designed for small bands with incomplete instrumentation.
  2. Generally, OSFABB can’t compete with a really good band arrangement if, of course,  your band has all the needed instruments.
  3. However, OSFABB is also ideal for large ensembles as well particularly if:
  4.     1.  Your band needs music for a quick performance or...
  5.     2.  You want to provide your students with the simple enjoyment of      common songs they can play or sing.
  6. OSFABB Music allows the director to arrange the instrumentation to better fulfill the education or performance objectives of his or her ensemble.   You can be creative about who plays what and where.
  7. OSFABB also works well if you have a mixed grade ensemble (any combo of 5th - 8th Grade).  OSFABB arrangements allow the experienced players to guide the less experienced.  For example, The whole band can play the Melody Part in unison or.. all Treble Clef instruments can play the Harmony Part (generally the harmony part is written in a lower range) or.. all the Bass Clef instruments can play the Bass Part.
  8. Students can download the music any time they want or re-download as necessary in case their dog ate their music.
