MUSIC SHORTCUTS

Measure #2 and #14:

Mid Measure Repeat:  a repeat comes in the middle of the measure instead of at the beginning or end.  Used rarely in instrument music but commonly used in vocal music to keep the verses together

Play 6 X means play or repeat 6 times

Measure #7 and #8.

Tacet means “It’s Silent” or leave it out.

Tacet 2-6X= leave out (note and B) the 2nd through the 6th time, Tacet 3-6X= leave out (note and I) the 3rd through the 6th time, etc.

Here’s how leaving out the notes and the letters if you play Bingo 6 times works.

#= no note or word.
